Wow, 2012 proved to be an awesome year! I had the opportunity to work with some amazing couples and families who brought tons of energy to every shoot. I also traveled to cover weddings and engagement shoots which was a first - definitely looking forward to doing that more. I'm super stoked for 2013 and excited about whats to come. Here are some photos from Joanna and Steve's wedding that I photographed earlier this summer. They had an intimate courthouse wedding in Fairfax and an equally intimate and awesome reception with close family and friends at Sonoma Restaurant in DC. I had great time hanging with Joanna and Steve on their wedding day! Congrats again you guys!

Here are some photos I shot while second shooting for Akins Lawal Photography earlier this summer. You can check out his awesome post of this wedding here. Akins shoots film with a variety of formats and I had the chance to shoot my Nikon F100 film camera. The photos below were shot on Kodak Portra 160 and developed by Richard Photo Lab.
